All About the District Dashboard (Beta)
Use this guide to explore the District Dashboard and understand the metrics available during the beta period
Thank you for being part of our beta group. This space is designed to help District Administrators learn how to navigate the District Dashboard and understand the data available across each tab. Below, you’ll find an overview of every section and the definitions for each metric included.
Dashboard Tabs
Summary
When you enter the District Dashboard, you’ll land on the Summary page. This page gives you a high‑level overview of activity across your district. You can sort by School Name and Curriculum Title, and you can also view the Top Curricula in your district.
Summary Metrics Definitions
Active Students
Unique count of students who have at least started a curriculum. A student with multiple enrollments in the same curriculum—or across different curricula at the same school—is counted once.
Total Students
Total number of student enrollments where a curriculum has been started. A student with multiple enrollments is counted multiple times.
Certified Students
Students who have completed all modules, passed all final assessments, and finished any mandatory end‑of‑course surveys.
Active Teachers
Unique count of teachers who have at least one active cohort.
An active cohort is defined as a curriculum at a school with at least four students enrolled and actively using the course.
Active Schools
Unique count of schools with at least one active cohort.
An active cohort is defined as a curriculum at a school with at least four students enrolled who have made progress in the course.
Students
The Students tab provides a clear overview of student activity across your district. You can sort by School Name and Curriculum Title and view the count of Active Students by curriculum.
Student Metrics Definitions
Active Students
Unique count of students who have at least started a curriculum. Multiple enrollments for the same student at the same school count once.
Total Students
Total count of student enrollments across curricula where a curriculum has been started. Multiple enrollments for the same student will count multiple times.
Active Students Compared to This Time Last Year
Unique count of students who have started a curriculum, compared to the same point in the previous year.
Certified Students
Count of students who have completed all modules, passed final assessments, and completed any end‑of‑course required surveys.
Teachers
The Teachers tab shows teacher activity across the district. You can sort by School Name and Curriculum Title and review Teacher Usage and Teacher Usage by Curriculum.

An active cohort is defined as a curriculum at a school with at least four students enrolled and actively using the course.
Active Teachers Compared to This Time Last Year
Unique count of teachers with at least one active cohort, compared to the same time last year.
Schools
The Schools tab shows activity at the school level. You can sort by School Name and Curriculum Title and view School Usage and School Usage by Curriculum.
