Clever/ClassLink (SSO): Missing Classes
Learn what to check if your rostered sections don’t appear when creating a class
When your school uses Clever or ClassLink for Single Sign‑On (SSO), your class sections come directly from your district’s Student Information System (SIS). These sections should appear in the Create Class dropdown in your Teacher Site. If they’re missing, here are the most common things to check.
1. Make Sure You’re Logged In With SSO
You must log in through your district portal and select the Everfi app.
If you log in with a username and password instead of Clever/ClassLink, your rostered sections will not load.
2. Check Whether You Are the Primary Teacher
Only the primary teacher assigned to a section in your SIS will see that section in Everfi.
If you are listed as a co‑teacher, or not listed at all, the section will not appear.
If you should be the primary teacher, contact your District Admin to update your SIS roster.
3. Confirm Your Sections Appear in Your Clever/ClassLink Portal
If the sections are missing in Clever or ClassLink, they cannot sync to Everfi.
Your district must ensure your rosters are set up and correctly shared.
4. Check for Hidden Classes in Everfi
If you previously created classes using these sections, they may have been hidden.
To check:
- Go to My Classes
- Change the filter to Show All Classes
- Unhide any classes as needed
5. Ensure Students and Teachers Have Logged In at Least Once via SSO
Teachers and students appear in Everfi only after they’ve logged in via Clever or ClassLink for the first time.
If a student or teacher has never launched Everfi from the district portal, their section may appear empty.
If You Still Don’t Have Any Sections in the Dropdown
- Create a manual (non‑SSO) class so you can begin using Everfi
- Then contact your District Admin to confirm:
- Your sections exist in the SIS
- You are set as the primary teacher
- Everfi is authorized to receive your rostering data
