Course Outlines
Learn where to find course outlines and other planning resources
Use course outlines to quickly review what a course covers before assigning it to students. You can preview the structure, topics, and planning resources directly from your Teacher Site.
Find Course Outlines
1. Log in to your Teacher Site
Sign in using your educator account.
2. Open My Courses
Your selected courses appear in the My Courses tab. Each course includes a description, grade range, and available planning resources.
3. Select Details for the Course
Choose Details on the course you want to review.
This page lets you preview the course and access planning materials such as course outlines, curriculum guides, discussion guides, glossaries, and assessment keys.

4. Go to the Resources Tab
At the top of the Details page, select the Resources tab.
Here, you’ll find all planning resources available for that course, including:
- Course outlines
- Supplemental documentation
- Curriculum or discussion guides
- Any additional teaching materials provided for the course

What You See in a Course Outline
A course outline gives you a clear overview of the course, which may include:
- Lesson summaries
- Key learning objectives
- Standards alignment
- Suggested pacing
- Linked extension activities or other supporting resources
Each course may offer different resources, so what appears in the Resources tab can vary.
