How do I get started?
When your teacher is ready for you to take a course, they will set up a class and either share a registration code with you or tell you to log into your course by logging into Classlink or Clever and accessing the EVERFI app.
If you don't have an account yet... you will need to register for an account. Follow the steps below or look here for the steps to take:
- Create your account by visiting https://everfi.com/student and enter in the registration code your teacher gave you. Then, click next.
- Select your age range and then click on next. To complete your setup, create a username and password.
- Click on Create Account.
- You will be taken to your Student Dashboard which will show you all of the courses your teacher wants you to take. Click the blue Start button to begin a course.
- Your progress will automatically be saved and your teacher will be able to see your quiz or assessment scores through their own Teacher accounts.
- When you need to return to your courses, simply visit https://everfi.com/login and log in using the username and password you created earlier.
If you already have an account...
- Log into your account by visiting https://everfi.com/login.
- Once you are logged in, locate the field at the top right of the page that says 'Enter Course Code'. This is where you will input the registration code your teacher gave you.
- Click the green 'Add Course' button. The page will reload and you will immediately be given access to your new courses.
What course do I need to take? What do I do with my registration code?
When it's time to take an EVERFI course, your teacher will let you know. In many occasions they will share a registration code with you in class that you will use to register for an account with on https://everfi.com/student.
If you already have an account, you can log in to your account at https://everfi.com/login and input the registration code your teacher gave you in the field at the top right. Once you do this, you will immediately gain access to the course(s) your teacher has selected. Your teacher will be able to see your assessment scores and progress information from within their own account.
If you think you should have access to a course that you do not, or if you are looking for a teacher's registration code, we recommend you reach out to your teacher for further instruction.
Help! I forgot my username / password
If you forgot your username or password, the fastest way to get help is to ask your teacher.
- Your teacher can look up your username.
- They can also reset your password from their account if needed.
If you are not able to ask your teacher, you or your parent can reach out to the Everfi Support team at 866-384-9062 or by visiting https://support.everfi.com/contact-support.
Help! I'm stuck in a course
If it feels like you're stuck and can't move forward in your course, here are some things to check:

Complete everything on the page - Many pages have activities, buttons to click, questions to answer, or videos to watch. Make sure you:
- Finish all activities
- Click all buttons
- Answer all questions
- Watch the full video (if there is one)
- Once everything is done, the Next button should work.
- Check your screen zoom - If your screen is zoomed in too much, you might not see the Next button or other important parts of the page. To reset your zoom:
- On a PC and Chromebook, hit "control 0 (zero)"
- On a Mac hit "command 0 (zero)"

Try a different browser - If things still aren’t working:
- Switch to Chrome or Firefox
- Clear your browser’s cache (this helps fix loading issues)

How do I retake an assessment or quiz?
You can retake a quiz or module from your Student Course Menu. Look for a “Retake” or “Replay” button next to the module. In some courses:
- Clicking Replay will restart the entire module, including the quiz.
- Your new quiz score will replace the old one after you finish the module again.
How do I get my certificate of completion?
When you finish a course, you should see a PDF certificate on your Learner Dashboard under the Completed tab.
- If you don’t see a certificate for a course you completed, contact Support.
- Be sure to tell us which course you need the certificate for.
