How to Set Up Your ClassLink Integration
Use this guide to help your district set up its ClassLink integration with Everfi
Step 1: Add the Everfi App to Your Roster Server
Follow these steps from your ClassLink District Administrator account:
- Open the ClassLink Roster Server and sign in.
- Select Apps at the top of your screen.

- Click + Add on the far right.
- In the search bar, type Everfi, then select Add.

- Choose your district’s preferred permission type.

Recommendation:
Use Full Permissions or Rule‑Based Permissions that include all teacher and student users, as well as orgs, courses, classes, and academic session information.
If you’d like to discuss permissions in more detail, email classlink@everfi.com. - Return to the Apps page and enable the Everfi app.
Important:
You must share at least one org labeled as a District org.
If your Roster Server does not currently include a district org, create one manually before continuing. Everfi cannot complete integrations without a district‑level org in the Roster Server.
Step 2: Add the Everfi OAuth2 App to Your District Launchpad
After completing the steps above, set up the Everfi OAuth2 app in your ClassLink Launchpad.
Note: Your Everfi integration may still be processing on our side. Before sharing the OAuth2 app with users, confirm your launch date with the Everfi team at classlink@everfi.com.
- From your ClassLink admin account, open the ClassLink Management Console.
- In the left‑hand menu, open the Applications dropdown and select Add & Assign Apps.

- Select App Library.
- Search for Everfi, then click Add when the Everfi OAuth2 app appears.
- Return to Add & Assign Apps, locate the Everfi app, and select Assign.
- In the Assign Application window, choose the Roster Server option, then select Student and Teacher, and click Add Selected.

Note: Everfi supports Student and Teacher user types through ClassLink. If other users need access, direct them to everfi.net to create their own accounts.
After You Complete Both Steps
An Everfi representative will follow up with any remaining questions and confirm your district’s launch date.
