Invite a Guest Speaker

Inviting a guest speaker into your classroom gives students a memorable real‑world learning experience. Use this guide to request and coordinate a visit.


How to Request a Guest Speaker

1. Locate the Request a Guest Speaker button

On your Teacher Dashboard, look for the Request a Guest Speaker button on sponsored courses.
You can also open the Guest Speaker option from the side navigation menu for quick access.

2. Submit your request

When you submit your request, you’ll choose the topic you want covered and suggest up to three dates and times for your class. Dates start one month in advance.

3. Receive your confirmation email

After you submit the form, you’ll receive a confirmation email with all the information you provided.


4. Visit confirmation and coordination

When a sponsor confirms the visit, you’ll receive another email that includes the sponsor’s contact information.
At this point, you and the guest speaker can coordinate directly to prepare for the classroom visit.


5. Complete the post‑event survey

After the visit, you’ll get a short survey to share feedback.
Your responses help us track visits, volunteers, and learning hours, and improve the program for everyone.
