View Grades Across All Classes
A familiar Gradebook experience is returning to Homeroom. Instead of navigating into individual classes to review student performance, you can now access a centralized Gradebook that brings together information from across your classes.
What changed: A new Gradebook option has been added to the navigation menu, allowing you to review student enrollments and grades by course across all of your classes from a single location. Filtering options help you focus on the information most relevant to your needs.
Why it matters: You can spend less time navigating between classes and more time reviewing student progress, making it easier to monitor performance across your courses.
Easier Navigation When Reviewing Student Information
We've made several updates to help create a more consistent experience when reviewing student information and progress. These improvements reduce the need to repeatedly adjust filters as you move between pages.
What changed: Filter selections are now preserved as you move between gradebook views, student records, and enrollment details. Your selected filters remain in place as you navigate through related pages.
Why it matters: You won't need to repeatedly reapply filters while reviewing student progress, helping you work more efficiently and maintain focus on the information you're reviewing.
Improved Password Visibility Controls
Entering or updating a password should be both secure and easy. We've updated password fields throughout the platform to give users greater control when entering their credentials.
What changed: Password fields are now masked by default and include a visibility toggle that allows users to temporarily display their password while typing.
Why it matters: Users can verify password entries more easily, helping reduce mistakes during account creation and password updates while maintaining account security.
Google Account Registration Improvements
We've updated the Google sign-in registration experience to provide a more explicit acknowledgment of platform terms during account creation.
What changed: New users creating accounts through Google sign-in are now required to actively confirm acceptance of the Terms of Service before completing registration.
