Using Everfi with Your Learning Management System (LMS)

You can use your LMS to share Everfi assignments with your students. Instead of launching courses directly inside your LMS, you’ll create an assignment and link students out to everfi.net or your SSO login page.

Before You Begin

1. Log in to Everfi using your SSO provider or at everfi.net
2. Create a class on your Everfi dashboard
3. Copy your class code (if you are not using SSO)

Your LMS assignment should always include:

• A link to Everfi (everfi.net or your SSO login page)
• Your class code (for non‑SSO students)

Schoology

1. Log in to Schoology
2. Select your course
3. Click Add Materials → Add Assignment
4. Name the assignment (ex: FutureSmart – Lesson 1: Welcome, Mayor!)
5. In the description, include directions such as:
   • Click the link to log in to Everfi. Open your assigned course and complete Lesson 1. Return to Schoology and click Submit when you’re done.
6. If students are new to Everfi, add:
   • Choose Student and enter this class code: [CLASS CODE]
7. Complete any additional settings required by your district
8. Click Create Assignment

Canvas

1. Log in to Canvas
2. Select your course
3. Click Assignments
4. Select + Assignment
5. Name the assignment
6. Add a description similar to Schoology’s recommended wording
7. For first‑time Everfi students, include:
   • Choose Student and enter this class code: [CLASS CODE]
8. Adjust any district‑required settings
9. Click Save & Publish

Google Classroom

1. Log in to Google Classroom
2. Select your course
3. Click Classwork
4. Choose + Create → Assignment
5. Name the assignment
6. Add directions such as:
   • Click the link to log in to Everfi. Complete your assigned lesson, then return to Google Classroom to submit your work.
7. For first‑time students, include:
   • Choose Student and enter this class code: [CLASS CODE]
8. Fill in any required fields
9. Click Assign
