Common reasons for hiding classes:
- You created a class (perhaps in error?) that you don't ever want to use or see – hiding classes is the closest we have to 'deleting' this class
- Hiding a class will not remove it from student view – if a student had the registration code they can still access the courses tied to that class. To be sure students are not able to access courses tied to this class, we recommend following instructions on how to Lock Courses within a class.
Steps to "unhide" a class:
- Log in to your Teacher Site
- Click on the My Classes tab.
- Select the "Show All Classes" filter on the top right side. Any hidden classes will now show in this view.
- If you'd like to "unhide" a class, go to the class in question and click on "More actions > Show." This will essentially "unhide" this class so that you can see it without having to change the filter.

Note: If you hide classes, they will not appear in your Gradebook, but students can still access the course from their Dashboard.
