Moving a Student to a New Class

Learn how to move a student to a new class. 

 

Teachers can move a student from one class to another, as long as:

  • the teacher has access to the class they would like to move the student to

  • it is the same curriculum (for example, if the class is a Financial Literacy class, the class where the student is moved to is a Financial Literacy class)

  • You are not Single Sign-On (Clever/ClassLink)

  1. Log in to your K12 Teacher Site

  2. From the top menu, click Students

  3. Find the student in your list. You can use the filters to find the student you are looking for.

  4. Once you find the student, click Change Class and use the dropdown menu to select what class you would like to move the student to.
