New Teacher Dashboard Overview

Welcome to your new teacher dashboard. We've updated the experience to bring classes, students, grades, and progress tracking into one more connected workspace.

If things look a little different than you remember, that's expected. This article will help you quickly find common tools, understand what changed, and get back to teaching with confidence.

What changed in the new dashboard

The new dashboard organizes classroom management, student information, and reporting into connected workflows.

Some of the biggest changes include:

• Classes, students, and reporting are more closely connected.
• Grades can be accessed from within a class or from the Gradebook.
• Student details are available from student records.
• Common classroom tools are grouped together in the left navigation.

If you used the Classic experience last year, some familiar tools may now be located in different places.

Where to find your classes

Select My Classes from the left navigation to view and manage your classes.

From My Classes, you can:

• View active and archived classes
• Open a class
• Review course information
• Access Grades & Progress
• Manage student enrollments

Where to find grades and progress

Teachers can review grades and progress in two ways.

Option 1: Grades & Progress

Use Grades & Progress when reviewing a specific class and course.

1. Go to My Classes.
2. Open the class you want to review.
3. Locate the course.
4. Select View Grades.

This view displays grades, progress, assessment scores, and certification status for students enrolled in that class.

Option 2: Gradebook

Use the Gradebook when reviewing student performance across multiple classes.

1. Select Gradebook from the left navigation.
2. Select a curriculum.
3. Use filters such as:
   • Class
   • Certification Status
   • School Year
4. Review student performance or open student grade details.

The Gradebook provides a centralized reporting view across classes and student enrollments.

Where to find student information

Select My Students from the left navigation to view students associated with your classes.

From My Students, you can:

• Search for students
• View student details
• Review student progress
• Access course information
• Reset student passwords

Where to find detailed student progress

For more detailed information about an individual student:

1. Go to My Students.
2. Open the student's record.
3. Review progress, assessment scores, and course information.

Student Details provides additional information beyond class-level reporting and can help you investigate a specific student's performance.

Where do I go to review student progress

You can review progress from:

• Grades & Progress for class-level information
• Gradebook for curriculum-level reporting
• My Students for detailed student records

Why does the dashboard look different

The new dashboard is designed to bring classroom management, student information, and reporting together in one connected experience.

While some tools may be located in different places than they were previously, the same core workflows are still available.

Why don’t you show last names in the gradebook

We follow the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which affects how student information is displayed.

To help distinguish between students, we recommend using usernames when needed.

How do I reset a student password

1. Go to My Students
2. Find the student who needs a new password
3. Select the key icon in the Actions column
4. Create and save a temporary password
5. Share the temporary password with the student and have them sign in
