New Teacher Dashboard Overview

Learn to navigate the new teacher dashboard experience

What You Can Expect

The new Teacher Dashboard gives you an updated look and feel while keeping familiar workflows easy to access.

  • You can switch between the New Teacher Dashboard and the Classic View at any time.
  • The Explore Courses page will look familiar. You can filter content, open Details to view course information, and see guest speaker opportunities directly from course cards.
  • Instead of three separate tabs for My Classes, Students, and Gradebook, you now have one streamlined space where you can manage classes and track student progress.

  3. Select View Grades and Progress to see student performance.

Why don’t you show last names in the gradebook?

We follow the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), which restricts how student information is displayed.
To help with classroom organization, we recommend using each student’s username as the differentiator.

How do I reset student passwords?

  1. Go to My Students in the left‑hand navigation.
  2. Find the student who needs a new password.
  3. Select the key icon in the Actions column.
  4. Create a temporary password, save it, and share it with the student so they can log in.
