Preparing for the School Year '25-'26

Make sure you're ready for the new school year with these simple steps.

What does this mean? What is being prepared? 

  • Each school year implementation period is from July 1st to June 29th.
  • At the end of the implementation period, classes from the previous year are “archived” or no longer immediately visible on the “My Classes” tab for teachers 
  • Previous Year courses move from the “Current Courses” tab to the “Past Courses” tab for students

How does this work? 

  • For the 2025- 2026 school year, classes will not automatically be put in the new implementation period.
  • All classes will be archived and teachers will have one month (until August 1st) to reactivate classes they wish to continue using. (Note: At this time, the August 1st deadline has passed and you will need to create new classes. Learn how here.)
  • Teachers will have the ability to reactivate any cohort groups they wish to bring back, except Future Goals: Hockey Scholar which will be updated with a new course version, and WORDForce.
  • Teachers will be able to previous year assessment scores in their “Gradebook” for all classes


Please note: We have updated the EVERFI Future Goals: Hockey Scholar course for the new school year. If you had a class with the previous version of either course, you cannot reactivate it and must create a new class with the new version of the course.
