Resetting Your Password as a Teacher
Use this guide to reset your Everfi password
1. Start From the Login Page
Select Forgot password? Click here on the login screen.

2. Enter Your Email
In the Password Recovery box, enter the email address linked to your Everfi account and select Reset Password.
3. Check Your Email
You will receive a password reset email within 15 minutes if your email is on file. If you do not see it, check your Spam or Junk folder. The message will come from “Everfi K12 Team” with the subject line Everfi Password Reset.
4. Open the Reset Link
Click the link in the email to open the password‑update page.
5. Create Your New Password
When the update box appears, enter your new password and select Save.
Your new password must meet Everfi’s updated password requirements:
- Minimum length: 12 characters
- Character types: Include at least two of the following:
- Letter
- Number
- Symbol (such as ! @ # $ % & * -)
- Password strength: Must be rated Strong or Very Strong on the strength meter
- Not allowed:
- Any form of the word password
- Your first name, last name, email, or username (if longer than three characters)

- Reusing any of your last three passwords
These updated rules apply to all teachers beginning August 1, 2025 and you will be prompted to update your password if your current one does not meet the new standards.
6. Sign In
Return to the login page and sign in using your new password.
