How Teachers Can Take Courses With Progress Tracking

When you preview a course from the Course Details page, your progress does not save. This preview mode is designed only to let you explore the lesson flow — not to track completion or award certification.

If you want to experience the course exactly as a student would — including saving progress and earning certification — you’ll need to register as a student.

How to Take a Course With Progress Saving

Follow the steps below to set up a student account for yourself:

1. Create a student account at: https://platform.everfi.net/user_type_select
   • Choose Student
   • You may use an alternate email, but you do not need to provide one — Everfi student accounts do not require email addresses
2. Enter the same registration code you share with your students
3. Complete the course from your student account

Your progress will now save automatically, just like it does for your students.

Using Your Student Account in the Future

You can continue using this student account to explore other courses. To add another course:

• Enter a new registration code at the top of your student dashboard
• The new course will appear, and progress will save as you work through it
