Single Sign-On FAQs

Use this list to quickly find answers to common questions about Single Sign-On (SSO)

When does the EVERFI system sync Single Sign-On rosters

The EVERFI system syncs with Single Sign-On rosters every night around 7:00 PM EST.
If you upload or update students during the school day, you’ll see those changes the next day after the nightly sync.

What should I do if certain sections aren’t being shared with me as the teacher

If you’re missing sections, your district may need to adjust your sharing settings.
You’ll want to work with your District Administrator to add the correct sections to your account. Learn more here: Knowing Who Your Clever/ClassLink District Administrator Is and What They Are Needed For.

What happens if a student changes sections

When a student changes sections, SSO tools leave them enrolled in the original section and place them into the new one.
You’ll need to hide the student from the old section. Review how to do this here: Hiding Students.

If the student had grades in the previous section, you’ll also need to manually add their grades in the new section. Learn how to update grades here: Editing and Adding a Grade in Your Gradebook.

What if I’m a counselor or support staff and I don’t have sections

Some districts only share sections for teachers who are assigned to classes.
If you don’t teach sections, ask your district to share all necessary data with EVERFI. You can review how to identify your District Administrator here: Knowing Who Your Clever/ClassLink District Administrator Is and What They Are Needed For.
