Student Surveys in Course
Learn about the surveys within the students' courses.
All enrolled students who report they are over the age of 13 are shown the surveys, unless the school or sponsor has determined that they want the surveys turned off. No child under the age of 13 is given any survey questions in accordance with the Child Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Survey questions are available for parents or teachers to see upon request but because they represent the intellectual property of EVERFI, they cannot be widely shared. Students are asked if they would like to opt out at the beginning of the surveys and are reminded that all questions are voluntary.
The data from surveys are used to inform our Impact Reports and continued course improvement. Survey data is kept confidential and secure on our cloud-based servers and is only compiled in aggregate. Both organizations that sponsor our courses, and school districts, receive reports with aggregated survey data that show the impact the courses have had on students' knowledge gain, attitudinal shifts, and behavioral changes.
