Student Surveys in Course
Learn how surveys work within Everfi courses
Some Everfi courses include short surveys that help us understand what students learn and how our programs can continue to improve.
Who Sees the Surveys
- Students who indicate they are 13 or older during registration may see survey questions.
- Students under 13 do not receive surveys in order to comply with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).
- Schools or sponsors may choose to turn surveys off entirely.
What Students Can Expect
- Surveys appear at the beginning or end of a lesson.
- Students are always given the choice to opt out.
- All survey questions are voluntary.
Access to Survey Questions
Parents or teachers may request to review the survey questions.
These questions represent Everfi’s intellectual property, so they cannot be broadly distributed or published outside the classroom.
How Survey Data Is Used
Survey data helps Everfi:
- Improve course content
- Measure student learning
- Inform Impact Reports for sponsors and school districts
All survey responses are:
- Kept confidential and secure
- Stored on Everfi’s cloud‑based servers
- Reported only in aggregate, never tied to an individual student
School districts and sponsoring organizations receive summary reports showing overall knowledge gains, attitude shifts, and behavior changes based on student responses.
