Clever or ClassLink Students Not Appearing in a Teacher’s Roster
Learn why students may not appear in a class roster and what to do next
Students must log in through Clever or ClassLink
Students only appear in a teacher’s roster after they log in through Clever or ClassLink for the first time.
If a student is missing:
- Confirm that the student has opened the Everfi app through your school’s Clever or ClassLink system
- First‑time logins are required before students show up in a class roster
Students may not be included in the shared roster
If a student recently:
- Transferred schools
- Joined the class
- Was added after the term began
They may not yet be included in the roster shared with Everfi.
In these cases:
- Contact your district administrator to review and update the Clever or ClassLink roster data
- Changes to SSO rosters must be made at the district level
The class may not be visible to the teacher
If students are not appearing, the class itself may not be visible to the teacher.
This can happen if:
- The class was archived
- Filters or views are hiding the class
Review the Missing Classes article to check whether class visibility is causing the issue.
