Use this guide to find quick answers about using Google Single Sign‑On with Everfi

Can I Use Google Log In if I Currently Use Clever or ClassLink

No. If your district uses Clever or ClassLink today, you should continue logging in with those systems to keep your current rosters and information.  If you try to log in with Google, you will be redirected back to Clever or ClassLink.  Make sure your students also continue using the method your district already has enabled.


Can I Use Google Sign‑In if I Already Have a Non‑SSO Everfi Account

Yes. When you begin the Google sign‑in process, you will see an option to link your existing Everfi account.  This allows you to keep your current classes, data, and settings.


How Do I Get Help Accessing Google SSO Log In

Your district must enable Google SSO before you can use it.  If you are unsure whether it is enabled, or if you experience any trouble signing in, contact your district IT team.


Do Students Need a Google Email Address

Yes. Students need either a personal Gmail account or a Google Workspace for Education account to use Google SSO.


How Do I Reset My Password

Password steps depend on whether the student already has an Everfi account.

  • If a student already has an Everfi password, they will need to enter that password to link their account
  • If a new student knows their Google login information, they can sign in with Google right away
  • If a new student does not know their Google login information, they must follow Google’s password‑reset steps
  • If a student with an existing Everfi account clicks the Google sign‑in button, they must link accounts by entering their Everfi username and password
  • If a student does not know their Everfi password, their teacher will need to reset it before they can complete the Google sign‑in process


Does This Mean Everfi Is Integrated With Google Classroom

Not yet.  Google SSO improves how teachers and students sign in, but it does not integrate with Google Classroom.  After signing in, you should continue using your current Everfi workflows.
