K-12 Release 2026.04

Release Date: 3.10.26

We’ve released updates that improve accessibility, clarity, and control across key teacher experiences in Homeroom. Here’s what you’ll notice:

Login & Account Access

Accessibility Enhancements

Teachers and users will experience improved accessibility when working with password and account‑related screens. Updates support clearer screen reader interactions and more consistent navigation during login and password management, helping ensure these experiences are accessible to all users.

In‑platform chat support is now more clearly labeled, making it easier for teachers to identify how to contact support when they need help. This improves visibility and clarity without interrupting the teaching workflow.

Teacher Dashboard

Expanded Access and Smoother Navigation

Teachers who sign in using Clever or ClassLink now have access to the new teacher dashboard experience. This expanded availability allows more educators to work in the updated interface while managing classes, students, and assignments.

Teachers can also move more seamlessly between the new and classic dashboards as they navigate courses and collections, helping maintain continuity as they work across different areas of Homeroom.

More Control Over Assessment Scores

Teachers now have greater flexibility and clarity when working with post‑assessment scores. Score editing supports finer adjustments across the full score range, provides clear confirmation when changes are made, and visually indicates when a score has been added or updated. These enhancements help teachers manage grading with greater confidence and precision.

Why These Matter

These updates focus on making Homeroom more accessible, intuitive, and supportive of everyday teaching tasks. By improving clarity, expanding access to new experiences, and giving teachers more control where it matters most, Homeroom continues to support efficient classroom management and a more inclusive teaching experience.
