Single Sign-On (SSO) Clever/ClassLink Second Semester Instructions
Learn about what to do with Semester 2 Clever/ClassLink sections when the time comes
As Semester 2 nears we highly recommend you create new classes with your Semester 2 sections. This is especially important if your sections are changing or if you might acquire new students throughout the new semester. Here are the steps to follow:
As you approach Semester 2, we recommend creating new classes using your Semester 2 sections. This helps ensure your roster stays accurate, especially if your student list or schedule changes or if you expect new students to join throughout the term.
Set Up Your Semester 2 Class
- Go to My Classes
- Select Create Class
- Choose your Semester 2 section
- To identify a Semester 2 section, look for the Term or semester indicator in the section name
- Common labels include T1, T2, T3, or S1, S2
- Some districts display section numbers in parentheses; compare these numbers to what you see in your SIS (Skyward, Infinite Campus, PowerSchool, etc.)
- Fill out the class details
- Select Create Class
What Happens Next
- Once Semester 2 begins, your students log in through Clever or ClassLink as usual
- Students tied to your Semester 2 section will automatically appear in your class after they launch the EVERFI app
- No registration codes are needed for rostered classes
What to Do With Your Semester 1 Classes
Once Semester 1 ends, we recommend hiding those classes. This keeps your dashboard organized and prevents students from seeing or returning to courses that are no longer active
