Why you may not see a student’s progress

Student progress is tied to the class and teacher who created the enrollment.

If a student completed a course in another teacher's class, you won't be able to view that progress in your own reporting views.

What this means

• Student progress is associated with the class where it was completed.
• Progress is only visible to the teacher who owns that class.
• Progress does not automatically transfer between teachers.
• Viewing a student in your own class does not provide access to progress earned in another teacher's class.

What you can do

If you need access to a student's progress from another teacher's class:

• Ask the other teacher to share the information directly.
• Request screenshots, exported reports, or progress details as needed.

This is currently the most reliable way to review student progress across teacher-owned classes.

We understand that this can be challenging, especially when teachers share students or collaborate.
